🎓 VA Education Benefits:

Get the Most from What You’ve Earned

Whether you’ve already served or you’re currently in the National Guard, Reserves, or serving on Active Duty — you may be eligible for education benefits that can cover tuition, housing, books, and more.

🪖 Who’s Eligible?

Education benefits may be available to:

  • Veterans who have served on active duty (GI Bill®, Scholarships)
  • Spouse and Dependents with entitlement eligibility
  • Members of the National Guard or Reserves with qualifying service (DOD Tuition Assistance, State support programs, and GI Bill®) Currently serving active-duty members (DOD Tuition Assistance
  • Not sure what you qualify for? That’s exactly what I can help with!

🧭 Let’s Navigate It Together

During a free 15-minute goal exploration call, we’ll talk through your plans — school, timing, and next steps. If we decide to move forward, I’ll offer (always at no cost to you!)

  • Screen-sharing guidance to help you find your VA benefit eligibility and how many months you have left
  • Tips on requesting your Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
  • Advice for choosing the right benefit if you qualify for more than one

🎓 Connect with the Right People

Your school is key to your success. I always recommend:

  • SCO --Finding your School Certifying Official (SCO) — the person who submits your benefits to the VA. If your school doesn’t have one, it may not be approved to accept the GI Bill, meaning you won’t be able to use your benefits there.
  • ESO --Still on Active Duty? Reach out to your ESO — that stands for Education Support Officer — who will guide you on using Tuition Assistance, including the rules, timing, and eligibility for that benefit.
  • Reaching out to your campus’s Veteran and Military Services Office — if they have one, they can be a game-changer!
  • Need help evaluating schools? The annual Best for Vets College Report is a fantastic place to start. (View the latest report here)

🧰 The VA.gov Website

  • The VA’s official site — [VA.gov](https://www.va.gov) — is your bread and butter for all things benefits-related.
  • But let’s be honest: it can feel overwhelming if you don’t know where to go. That’s why I offer screen-sharing sessions to walk you through it, step-by-step, so you’re not navigating it alone.
